TORONTO, CANADA — WINGFLEX and BlueBird Simulations today announced a multi-year strategic partnership to develop a new generation of dedicated 757 and 767 flight simulation hardware. Under the agreement, WINGFLEX has been named the Official Exclusive Hardware Partner and Exclusive Recommended Hardware Provider for BlueBird's highly anticipated 757 and 767.

The partnership marks a significant step toward bringing dedicated 757 and 767 cockpit hardware to the broader consumer flight simulation market, an area traditionally served by specialized cockpit builders, custom solutions, and commercial simulation equipment. With a new product family planned for 2027, WINGFLEX aims to bring fresh energy, greater choice, and a new level of accessibility to the growing market for flight simulation hardware.

WINGFLEX is a flight simulation hardware manufacturer known for its realistic, modular, and accessible cockpit solutions. Its growing portfolio includes the popular A320 CUBE Series, full-size A320 MCDU, 737 and 777 CDU units, overhead panels, the DAP 500 Digital Autopilot Panel, and the GMP Gear Management Panel. With an emphasis on authentic design, thoughtful engineering, and craftsmanship, WINGFLEX has continued to make sophisticated cockpit hardware more accessible to desktop enthusiasts and home cockpit builders.

WINGFLEX's existing 737 and 777 CDU products are already compatible with the BlueBird 757, with full support available from day one of the aircraft's release. This allows current WINGFLEX customers to enjoy the BlueBird 757 with their existing hardware immediately, while looking forward to an entirely new family of dedicated 757 and 767 cockpit products arriving in 2027.

BlueBird Simulations is a flight simulation developer known for its ambitious 757 and 767 projects for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The company focuses on faithfully recreating commercial aircraft through custom-developed systems, accurate flight dynamics, and extensive consultation with real-world pilots, earning the attention of enthusiasts seeking a deeper and more authentic airliner simulation experience.

Despite their different areas of expertise, the two companies are united by a common philosophy: a genuine passion for flight simulation and aviation, an appreciation for the finest details, and a shared commitment to creating products that reflect the character of the real aircraft.

"At WINGFLEX, we've always believed that exceptional flight simulation products come from people who truly understand and love aviation," said Wilson, CEO of WINGFLEX. "In BlueBird, we've found a team that shares our vision, passion, and dedication to craftsmanship. Together, we have an opportunity to bring something genuinely new to the flight simulation community, making aircraft-specific hardware that was once largely limited to specialized cockpit builders more accessible to enthusiasts everywhere."

Two like-minded teams, one shared vision

At the heart of the collaboration is a shared ambition to bridge the gap between high-fidelity aircraft software and physical cockpit hardware.

Through direct technical cooperation, WINGFLEX and BlueBird will work together throughout the development process to align hardware functionality with the aircraft's simulated systems. This includes software integration, compatibility testing, and technical validation, ensuring that physical controls interact naturally and reliably with their virtual counterparts.

Rather than treating hardware as an accessory added after an aircraft is completed, the companies aim to create an integrated experience that reflects the same attention to detail across both software and hardware.

For WINGFLEX, the partnership also represents an opportunity to bring a new perspective to the hardware market. While popular aircraft have inspired an established range of consumer cockpit peripherals, dedicated and comprehensive hardware solutions for the 757 and 767 have remained comparatively limited.

"What's particularly exciting about this partnership is that we're not just bringing another product to an already established category," said Sky Ning, Manager of Engineering, Product, and Worldwide Marketing at WINGFLEX. "We're entering a part of the market that has historically received far less attention from consumer hardware manufacturers. BlueBird shares our appreciation for the smallest details, and with our teams working closely together, we want to bring something fresh to the hardware ecosystem. Our goal is to make building an authentic 757 or 767 cockpit a realistic possibility for more enthusiasts, without compromising the craftsmanship or experience that makes these aircraft special."

"From the beginning, our goal at BlueBird has been to recreate the 757 and 767 with the depth and attention to detail these aircraft deserve," said Shervin, CEO of BlueBird Simulations. "WINGFLEX shares that same philosophy, and their commitment to bringing realistic hardware to home simmers makes them a natural partner. We're excited to work together to extend the experience beyond the screen and into the physical cockpit."

A new 757 and 767 hardware lineup, coming in 2027

As part of the partnership, WINGFLEX is developing an ambitious new family of consumer-level cockpit hardware dedicated to the 757 and 767, with the first products planned for release in 2027.

The initial lineup will serve the shared 757 and 767 cockpit layout, featuring a full-scale 757 Glarewing Combo incorporating VOR/DME and Mode Control Panel (MCP) controls, alongside dedicated Electronic Flight Instrument System (EFIS) and Flight Management Computer (FMC) products.

Building on WINGFLEX's existing experience with integrated cockpit peripherals, the new products will emphasize realistic dimensions, authentic controls, premium craftsmanship, and seamless integration with BlueBird's aircraft simulations.

Designed with both desktop enthusiasts and dedicated home cockpit builders in mind, the modular product family will allow users to gradually expand their flight simulation setups, from individual control panels to more comprehensive flight deck configurations.

The two companies envision a unified hardware ecosystem for the 757 and 767, with additional hardware products and new designs to be revealed in the future.

By bringing aircraft-specific hardware development into the consumer market, WINGFLEX and BlueBird hope to open the door for a new generation of enthusiasts and encourage further innovation, competition, and variety within the flight simulation hardware industry.

Further information regarding specifications, pricing, and availability will be announced as development progresses.

A new chapter in flight simulation

The partnership comes ahead of the scheduled October 23, 2026 release of the BlueBird Simulations 757 for Microsoft Flight Simulator, an important milestone in the developer's efforts to recreate one of the most recognizable narrow-body airliners.

The collaboration also marks an important step in WINGFLEX's continued expansion. Having established a growing lineup of cockpit controls, CDU products, and general aviation peripherals, the company is investing in a new generation of comprehensive, aircraft-specific hardware solutions.

Beyond product development, the companies will collaborate on public demonstrations, joint promotional activities, and community engagement, creating opportunities for enthusiasts to experience the integration of BlueBird's aircraft simulations with WINGFLEX's upcoming hardware.

For both companies, the partnership represents more than a commercial agreement. It brings together two like-minded teams with a shared commitment to authenticity, craftsmanship, and the belief that truly great flight simulation experiences are built through attention to every detail.

Together, WINGFLEX and BlueBird Simulations aim to introduce fresh possibilities to the hardware market, making the iconic 757 and 767 flight decks more accessible, immersive, and exciting for enthusiasts around the world.
